The Pussy Grabber Plays

Compelled by the outcome of the 2016 election, ICM female powerhouse Kate Pines and TV/accomplished playwright Sharyn Rothstein united seven truth-tellers to create this powerful show of bravery and hope. The inspiration for this project began with the Access Hollywood tape, where Trump joked about assault and his harassment. The world premiere of "The Pussy Grabber Plays" took place in January 2019, off-Broadway at Joe's pub at the Public Theatre. This world premiere received rave reviews from the New York Times, People Magazine, the Daily Beast, and more.

We The Women was thrilled to host an LA pop up of "The Pussy Grabber Plays" in May 2019. The evening was a beautiful expression of trauma, truth, and the hope to rise above. Tasha Dixon, the first truth-teller to come out, produced the Hollywood pop up along with Jessica Hanna, Dana Resnick, and Shira Levine (who directed one of the acts and reprised the role she originated in NY, playing herself).
